Victory Over Royals Takes Miami to 60-38
The Miami Marlins picked up a win at Marlins Park, knocking off the Kansas City Royals, 6-2. On the mound for Miami was right-hander Joe Ryan. He played a key role in the triumph. The win went to Adrian Morejon in relief. His record improves to 4-1. JoJo Romero took the loss. Miami has won 6 straight games.

Francisco Lindor, who is tied for 4th in the NL in RBI with 72, helped out the Miami cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the shortstop was 2-5 with a double.
