Chicago Tops Colorado
Thursday, October 30th , 2025
It's party time in Chicago. The confetti is flying and residents are smiling.

The Chicago White Sox have reached the mountaintop, capturing the 2025 Round 4 today. They defeated the Colorado Rockies 12-5 at Coors Field to officially wrap up the series 4-1.

Asked how it feels to be a champion, catcher Yainer Diaz was to the point.

"It feels great, like a million bucks. I'm so happy right now, not just for me but for all the guys," he said. "We put a lot of work into this and deserve to be champions."

The team is planning a victory parade and fan appreciation day later in the week. Chicago finished the regular season 115-47 and claimed first place in the American League Central Division.

Injury Setback for Braves Boyd
Wednesday, October 29th , 2025
Braves starting pitcher Matthew Boyd has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for an oblique strain. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Atlanta told BNN Matthew Boyd would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least one week.

To date Boyd is 10-6 in 31 starts with a 4.82 ERA and has 140 strikeouts in 157 innings.
