Kansas City first baseman Triston Casas was a significant contributor in his team's 10-4 triumph over the Miami Marlins. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Royals. With the win, Kansas City raised its record to 52-48.

Sean Murphy had a big 2-run triple for the Royals in the top of the fifth inning. With Kansas City trailing 3-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Triston McKenzie and swatted a triple to right. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Royals ahead, 4-3.

"I felt good up there," said Murphy. "I saw the ball well."
