Royals Rally For Late Win Over Cubs
The Kansas City Royals downed the Chicago Cubs, 11-7, at Wrigley Field. Gleyber Torres led the way, going 2-for-3 for Kansas City. With the win over Chicago, the Royals improved to 53-48.

Kansas City used the clutch hitting of Manny Machado to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Royals the lead, 6-4. For the game, Machado had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Machado said.
