Los Angeles Sends Detroit Packing with 5-1 Loss
Los Angeles Dodgers starter Tarik Skubal pitched a good game to help his team take down the Detroit Tigers, 5-1. Detroit is 0-1 after the defeat.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. had a big 2-run home run for the Dodgers in the bottom of the third inning. With Los Angeles leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Spencer Turnbull and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dodgers ahead, 3-0.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Skubal after the game.
