The Cincinnati Reds picked up a win at Great American Ball Park, taking down the San Francisco Giants, 4-3, in 13 innings. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Dylan Cease. He played a central role in the triumph. With the loss, San Francisco falls to 1-1.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when first baseman Ryan O'Hearn grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Reds went on to win.

O'Hearn told a Cincinnati News reporter that he felt "elated" after the win.
