SL2 Awards Most Valuable Player Award, Wilson Gets Prize Saturday, October 25th , 2025 The future looks extremely bright for Peyton Wilson. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in A2. Wilson has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award. "I didn't expect to hit .347 this year, that's for sure," the second baseman said. The Peoria Chiefs star also put up a .409 on-base percentage this year, with 172 hits, 43 doubles, 10 triples, 12 home runs, 82 RBIs and 105 runs scored. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ethan Salas of the Jersey Shore BlueClaws finished second in voting, while Brandon Lockridge of the Brooklyn Cyclones finished third.
