Rengifo Helps Cleveland Outscore Houston
A 6-RBI performance from Luis Rengifo, who is tied for 4th in the AL with a .307 batting average, helped the Cleveland Guardians beat the Houston Astros, 14-10. Eury Perez, who finished 4th in the AL in strikeouts with 186 last year, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 4 runs on 4 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 6-1. The Guardians bumped their record to 51-48 with this win.

With Cleveland trailing 4-2 in the bottom of the second, Rengifo hit a cutter from Michael Grove for a grand slam home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Guardians ahead, 6-4.

"Baseball's a game where I feel like almost everything that happens is strange," said Rengifo. "Maybe that's why it's such a great game."
