Gallo goes 3-for-4 to Power Phillies Offense
The Philadelphia Phillies powered past the Boston Red Sox, 11-9, at Citizens Bank Park. Joey Gallo provided some of the pop. Pico de Gallo went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. James Karinchak earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-1. Philadelphia, with the win, is 31-69.

With Philadelphia trailing 7-4 in the bottom of the fifth, Gallo hit a curveball from Lance McCullers Jr. for a grand slam home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Phillies ahead, 8-7.

"I was making good contact tonight," said Gallo.
