Foscue Socks 2 Homers in 4-1 Win
|
Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Justin Foscue, who finished 5th in the AL in doubles with 40 last year, the Texas Rangers defeated the Houston Astros, 4-1. Jose Quijada recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 23 for 26. The Rangers improved their record to 49-52 by beating Houston.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Foscue hit a 2-run home run off Braxton Ashcraft. It propelled the Rangers into the lead, 3-1.
Foscue attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
