Devers, Guardians March to 9-3 Victory
The Cleveland Guardians powered past the Kansas City Royals, 9-3, at Kauffman Stadium. Rafael Devers provided some of the pop. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Kansas City is now 0-3.

With Cleveland trailing 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Devers hit a changeup from Aaron Nola for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Guardians ahead, 6-3.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Devers.
