The Houston Astros licked the Chicago Cubs, 11-1. Esteury Ruiz deserved a big chunk of the credit. The left fielder was 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 times for the Astros. Michael Grove picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-0 on the season.
